Abstract
"Since an increasing proportion of our national, local, and individual choices must be based on economic concepts and economic reasoning, more-as well as more effective-economic edu cation in our secondary schools is going to be required. An economically illiterate electorate cannot be expected to vote wisely on economic issues."
