An Ombudsman for Urban Schools

Abstract

The author of the following article discusses the need for administrative reform in many U.S. schools. He defines the ombudsman, dis cusses the role he can fill as a thoughtful out side critic, and suggests an organizational pattern in which he can work toward promot ing judicious reform.
