Abstract
In the course of his detailed analysis of some of the hard facts on youth unemployment, Professor Folk disposes of some popular myths. He says, for example, " ... it is part of the folklore of youth unemployment that an unemployed youth becomes an unemployed adult. There is no evidence to support this myth."
