Abstract
Following are the summary, conclusions, and recommenda tions of a report entitled The Role of the Secondary Schools in the Preparation of Youth for Employment, which was published last year by the Institute for Research on Human Resources of Pennsylvania State University. The report was written by JACOB J. KAUFMAN, professor of economics and director of the Institute for Research on Human Resources; CARL J. SCHAEFER, chairman of the Department of Vocational-Technical Education of Rut gers—The State University; MORGAN V. LEWIS, psychologist and research associate of the Institute for Research on Human Resources; DAVID W.
