Abstract

This is an advance release, Chapter IV, of the general and final report, YOUTH AND THE FUTURE, of the American Youth Commission of the American Council on Education, 744 Jack son Place, Washington, D. C. The general report to be issued on January 19, 1942, will represent the conclusions of the Commission's six year intensive investigation, study, and in terpretations of findings of the problems facing young people in this country, based on the experience of the past and ad justed to the realities of the present day. — EDITOR
