Abstract
The roles and responsibilities of principals are increasingly focused on instructional leadership. Requirements for practicing principals to complete professional development aligned with such standards have also increased. This article presents the results of a preliminary study on principals’ self-identification of professional development needs based on the 2008 Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium Standards and their preferences for professional development delivery methods to meet those needs.
