This manuscript explains how two principals implemented the Dunn and Dunn Learning Styles Model and the obstacles they faced in doing so. Organizational theory is used to describe how the administrators faced similar situations when new superintendents were hired in their respective districts. Possible solutions to vertical conflicts between superintendents and principals are offered.
