Abstract

The use of computers in education has generated considerable discus sion : Should they be relegated to a lab or should they be in every class room ? Should they be the objects of instruction, the means to teach other subjects, or a combination of both? The Internet provokes its own controversy; many educators promote the wiring of every class room while others insist students must first master the basics before surfing the Web.
