Abstract
Global problems of mankind accentuate growing interdependence in today's world and the common commitment to solve them appears as one of the main factors that form and strengthen the bonds within the emerging universal human community. A continuous role in this process must be played by the countries of the socialist community. The idea is fostered that the solution of global problems is, and increasingly should be, one of the main functions of the socialist state.
