Abstract
This News and Notes is particularly focused on the last EGOS colloquium, held in1 Warwick in July 1999. Marc Zune and Giseline Rondeaux, Ph.D. students at the University of Liege, Belgium, start by sharing their `first time' experiences at an international colloquium. They also invited conveners to talk about the structure and content of the sessions for which they were responsible during the colloquium. A positive response was received from four of the conveners who give an overview of the general orientations of the papers presented and describe the atmosphere at this 3-day colloquium. The next item of news is about a new research centre for Hospital Management and Organization that has been created at the Copenhagen Business School. This is followed by the General Announcements section.
