Abstract
To mark the beginning of 20th volume of Organization Studies, we are starting a new item called `Country Tales'. Each of these tales will aim at describing, in concise fashion, the state-of-the-art of Organization Studies in a particular country by presenting the research traditions, key players, research centres involved, and the Ph.D. programmes related to OS, etc. Finn Borum has kindly agreed to start this new exercise by editing the tale from Denmark.
This will be followed by a short account of participant's impressions of the 1998 EGOS Colloquium Ph.D. Pre-conference Activities, and, as always, at the end of the section, the agenda of forthcoming colloquia and activities.
