This paper discusses aspects of the basic professional qualities of sci-tech workers in China. It analyses and discusses professional qualities at three levels: knowledge, technique and morality. Finally, the paper stresses the key influences of technique and morality; in particular, with regard to a successful career for sci-tech workers in China.
