1 In the text, refer to the cited works by Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets. Specific identification of the applicable parts of the reference, e.g. page numbers, equation number, etc., may be included within the brackets. If possible, avoid mentioning authors' names. When referring to the same source at a later point in the text, use the same reference number.

2 All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. The manuscript should be carefully checked to ensure that the reference list is complete.

[year]). d For multi-author books [reference number] [initials+ name], [title paper]. In: [initials+names of editors], eds. Unpublished [description] ([name of institute, department, etc.], [year]). f For papers not yet published [reference number] [initials+ name], [title paper]. Submitted for publication in (or. Accepted for publication in) [title periodical] ([year]). g References to a personal communication [reference number] [initials+ name], personal communication ([year]). Examples of the most commonly found kinds of reference can be found on the inside of the back cover of the journal.

4 Do not abbreviate the titles of periodicals in the list of references.

In the case of publications in any language other than English, the original title is to be retained. However, the titles of publications in non-Latin alphabets should be transliterated, and a notation such as "(in Russian)" or "(in Greek, with English abstract)" should be added.
