Under the administration of the Commission on Publish ing, Library and Information Science (CPLIS), the Library and Information System of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (LISCAS) has obligations to serve the researchers of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Information technology should be a priority in the long run to bring about further improvement.
