The number of press comments (n) on German listed public companies was found to conform to the empirical expression n = ACb, where C is the market capitalisation, which was established previously for UK companies. The constant b is the same for both UK and German companies. Possible reasons why the constant A is different are discussed. The leading sources of financial press comment in the two countries are compared.
