Abstract
This article examines structured resources such as ontologies, reference models, and vocabularies in the domain of archival records management. We report on a systematic mapping study to identify resources with potential reusability for constructing a comprehensive ontology or ontology network for this domain. The Conducting Literature Search for Artefact Reuse (CLeAR) approach is adopted, offering a systematic methodology for identifying reusable structured resources. Through this approach, 19 resources are identified from 40 publications spanning 2002 to 2021, within a subset of 904 publications from Scopus and Web of Science. These resources primarily manifest as ontologies, while some serve as conceptual reference models, data models, or vocabularies. The analysis encompasses attributes like application domains, representation languages, and coverage of archival records aspects.
