The evidence for the cerebral organisation of and hemispheric specialisation for
man's two principal psychological domains, language and visuospatial function, are
selectively reviewed. Three theoretical models of cerebral organisation are
outlined. Some neuropsychological and educational implications of sex differences in
hemisperic specialisation are considered.
