Abstract
In this particular article I intend to make an argument for the merger of teachers and researchers, particularly in respect to the education of mildly handicapped youngsters. The first part of the paper is a commentary on the current relationships between educational researchers and teachers. The second part is an outline of a new model for conducting and disseminating educational research.
