Abstract
Summer practica in gifted child education were sponsored by the special education component of Kansas State University at six public school locations in Kansas. The daily logs of students and teacher trainees were used as the primary resource for an evaluative summary of the program. Guidelines which set the parameters, requirements and tone of the practica are outlined and interpreted.
