Abstract

Changes in the trunk dimensions of fetal sheep in utero have been monitored using ultrasonic transit-time measurements. The circuitry and operation of a multi-channel receiver and its associated driving circuitry, which enables up to eight distances to be measured in rapid sequence, are described in detail.
