INTERSECTORAL FLOWS ANALYSIS IS SHOWN TO BE A VERY SPECIAL CASE OF INPUT-OUTPUT ANALYSIS. THE MULTIPLIERS FROM INTERSECTORAL FLOWS ANALYSIS CANNOT BE USED FOR IMPACT PROJECTIONS, BUT THEY MAY HAVE LIMITED DESCRIPTIVE VALUE. INTERSECTORAL FLOWS STUDIES HAVE DEVELOPED THE USE OF ROWS DATA TO GATHER I-O INFORMATION ON A SMALL BUDGET. THIS PAPER DESCRIBES HOW THE ROWS DATA CAN BE AUGMENTED BY SOME COLUMNS DATA TO OBTAIN MORE ACCURATE, INEXPENSIVE REGIONAL I-O TABLES.
