Abstract
This article reviews the meager management and organizational behavior literature on romantic relationships in organizational settings. It demonstrates that workplace romance is a topic on which much theoretical and, more importantly, empirical research is needed. Workplace romances have important work-related implications for the two participants, coworkers, supervisors, and the organization as a whole. A research agenda and research propositions are offered to stimulate future scholarly interest in this area.
