In the Spring-Summer 1997 issue of this journal appeared a review essay in which Lloyd Davies analyzed six recent books that “provide a background, context, and justification for Christian attention to Judaic learning.” In the interest of promoting further dialogue, I invited the authors of these works to respond to Professor Davies' critique and argument.
