Abstract
In the Spring-Summer 1997 issue of this journal appeared a review essay in which Lloyd Davies analyzed six recent books that “provide a background, context, and justification for Christian attention to Judaic learning.” In the interest of promoting further dialogue, I invited the authors of these works to respond to Professor Davies' critique and argument. The following comments By Ingraffia Brian D., Kevin Mills, and Daniel E. Ritchie are being published as part of that invited exchange. Additional responses may be included in forthcoming issues.—Ed.
