Too late to include in this paper, new information came to light on a meeting of the International X-ray and Radium Protection Commission held in 1931. Had this been known, Table 1 would have included a row for 1931 indicating that no Chairman was specified for that meeting, and that George W.C. Kaye and Stanley Melville were the Secretaries.
