A study was conducted to investigate the generality of behavioral segmentation phenomena that have been observed in single-actor situations to dyadic situations. Changes in subjects' segmentation strategies via instructional manipulations and across time were found. The generality of the feature change hypothesis from single-actor situations to dyadic-actor situations was addressed.
