The recent history of institutional achievement in social psychology was studied. Achievement was indexed by the number of publications and the number of fellows associated with educational institutions. The decades of the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's were sampled and leading institutions were identified. Temporal trends and relationships between the indices are noted and discussed.
