Conolley and Maruyama (in press) present updated mean "L" values for the 555 personality-trait words origi nally scaled by Anderson (1968) in 1964. This paper pre sents general similarities and differences between the two sets of trait words and focuses on a subset of words showing the most and least change over the 10 years.
