Abstract
In a recent report, Page and Roy (1975) presented the results of a study on the moderating effects of locus of control on the relationship between grades and course evaluations, to support their conclusion that externals are more dependent on grades in their course evaluations than are internals. It is argued that their use of grade estimates rather than actual grades makes such a conclusion unwarranted. Data relevant to the argument, and in support of the usefulness of studying the moderating effects of conceptually relevant personality variables on the grade-evaluation relationship were presented.
