Seven years and hundreds of cases later, Eerie ENT Cases at Cedars—Sinai continues to bring together the otolaryngology community using a case-based approach to discuss content that focuses on unperceived findings, results, adverse events, near misses, unperceived issues, and lessons learned from experienced expert faculty in their field. We are thankful for another opportunity to share these peer-reviewed cases with our colleagues in this fourth supplement of the ENT Journal. Our efforts, and that of our colleagues, have allowed such cases to grow into discussions around quality improvement projects as well as into panel suggestions at the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery annual meeting. Together, we can learn from these cases by applying the recommendations and solutions that may avoid future adverse events or offer insight into managing them more effectively should they arise. We hope you will gain as much insight from them as we have, and may we continue to foster a culture of open dialogue around challenging cases.
