This article describes a myringoplasty technique that involves the use of a single flap of meatal skin and tympanic membrane epithelium. The procedure was performed on 148 patients. A success rate of 90.5% was achieved, with early epithelialization of the grafted tympanic membrane and the avoidance of various problems encountered in the performance of other forms of myringoplasty.
