Residential Schools: An Underutilized Resource

Abstract

Residential schools are often the only places in a state with the expertise to promote the best interests of children who are blind or visually impaired. To be valuable resources and to provide the leadership needed to provide high-quality services throughout a state, they must promote a unified system of effective, cost-efficient services.
