Abstract
Nassau BOCES Program for the Vision Impaired, Wantagh, New York, has sponsored, developed, and implemented a pilot telecommunications project for blind and visually impaired students in public school districts. This article presents an overview of the project, describing its objectives, components of the system, participants, and prerequisite and integrated skills.
