A Subjective Approach to Eccentric Viewing Training

Abstract

Describes a method whereby patients with a central vision loss may increase the clarity of their vision by using the parafoveal area of the retina. In using this method, patients move their eyes rather than their heads and subjectively choose their best direction of gaze.
