A study to gain an understanding of the decision-making process employed by blind and visually impaired consumers in clothing selection and of the problems these consumers face in the retail marketplace revealed that general concerns of respondents included attitudes of salespersons, accessibility of stores, need to obtain more fashion information, and need for education in the areas of clothing selection and construction.
