Abstract
Describes a model project providing assessment and supportive services for “mainstreamed” visually handicapped children. The Albany Association of the Blind contributed professional staff to work in a five-county area for the purpose of educating parents and school staff concerning the needs of children. The goals, team concept, assessment, service, workshops, and evaluation of the project are covered.
