Abstract
Describes the design, adaptation, and evaluation of a special program of Laboratory Science, Art, and Music for elementary school blind children. The program lends itself to educating blind children in a mainstream setting, in special schools for the blind, and by itinerant teachers. Teacher training, preservice and in-service, are part of this mainstreaming program at Mann Elementary School in Washington, D.C. Evaluation, research, and development are ongoing parts of the project during implementation.
