Abstract
A psychologist's role in a specific rehabilitation facility for older visually impaired people is described. The uses of the assessment process for this population and the participation in the process by the student (client, patient), his family, other staff members, as well as the psychologist, are detailed. Specific tests that have been used with this population effectively are mentioned.
