Abstract
Sex education programs for blind children must take into account the sexual negativism of American culture and work to overcome resistance to the use of touch so necessary to learning by blind children. Both teachers and parents need a great deal of help in overcoming their own insecurities about sexuality so that they can better educate their children in this crucial area.
