Community Resources Used by the Rehabilitation Teacher

Abstract

□ It is hoped that this brief description of community resources which were utilized in one state district by one rehabilitation teacher during a single year will suggest further possibilities to others. These resources generally fall into three categories, educational, material, and recreational with occasional overlapping (certain recreational pursuits for example, also involve new skills). No attempt has been made to determine which resouces were most successful or useful; the intention has simply been to provide an illustrative survey of resource possibilities.
