Abstract
The facts presented in this article are based on eighteen months of study undertaken at the Rehabilitation Center of the Greater Pittsburgh Guild for the Blind, on the effect of fencing on the reorganization of the sensorium after the loss of sight. The course in fencing given at the Guild covers three class-hours per week for the duration of the rehabilitation period of sixteen weeks.
