Abstract
Under the chairmanship of Kathern F. Gruber, who is director of the Division of Program Development at the American Foundation for the Blind, the topic “Blindness in 1990—U.S.A.” was the theme of a panel discussion at the annual conference of the National Rehabilitation Association held in Detroit in October. In this article Mr. Salmon as a panel member presented his views on the role of the voluntary agency for the blind now and as it might be during the next quarter century.
