Abstract
Editor's Note.—Mr. Burritt and Mr. Shotwell wish our readers to understand that the following report has been written entirely from notations made in longhand during the sessions of the convention; and that, while they have made a special effort to reflect the speakers’ ideas as accurately as possible, they do not anticipate that they have been able to do so in every instance. They, therefore, ask the indulgence of any speaker who may be unintentionally misquoted, for they have made a conscientious effort to give a correct report of the ideas advanced by each speaker.
