Abstract
The paper addresses the ventilation system design and analysis for the Limehouse Link Tunnel, a 1.6 km dual carriageway vehicular tunnel with an incoming slip road on the south carriageway and an outgoing slip road on the north carriageway. The road cross-section varies to accommodate speed change lanes. The tunnel complex is represented mathematically by a series of flow paths with nodes. The paper describes the design features, the major system components and the technique used in analysing the system.
