A 13-year-old girl with nocturnal enuresis which had not previously been controlled using a number of different approaches, was treated using Retention Control Training, designed to increase the functional capacity of her bladder. During treatment the frequency of her evening enuretic episodes decreased and she commenced voluntary night-time independent toileting.
