A review of school psychological services for deaf children in the United States is presented in the context of the historical relationship between deaf education and psychological services. Questions concerning what constitutes a full range of psychological services for deaf children and what steps might be taken to increase the range of services available to deaf children are addressed in relation to a proposed model of psychological services for deaf children.
