Whither school psychology? Whither schools? Whither education? This paper will address itself to the place of school psychology in Turkey at the end of the century. In order to have a proper perspective we must look at new directions in education and society in the light of social, economical and political developments in the world and especially in the Middle East. And in considering the future we must first consider the past.
