Abstract
BTT CLOS guidance is achieved on the basis of two identical, independent single-plane controllers in conjunction with polar conversion of the guidance commands. Design techniques studied include six methods of discretisation, design in the w' plane, pole placement in the z plane and discrete optimal LQ control. Computer simulation results for a three-dimensional stationary target engagement and a 10th-order non-linear state model of the missile dynamics are included
