The title of the paper refers to a package of microcomputer SISO programs which have been used to complement a course in control engineering given to undergraduate mechanical engineering students. Descriptions of both the course and package are given. Also described is the method of incorporating the package into the course by means of tutorials and class demonstrations. Some comments on the implication of the impact of microcomputers in teaching are also made.
