A compressor control system simulation is described. Multivariable control algorithms are used, with switches in controller gain to compensate for nonlinearities and to allow a wider operating range. A novel feature is the selection of setpoints inside the control algorithm to allow rapid disturbance rejection, and gradual recovering of efficient operation.
