Abstract
It is possible to investigate the dynamic behaviour of future aircraft with scaled models which fly, suspended by a vertical rod, in. the airstream of a wind tunnel These models have to be similar with respect to mass and mass distribution, length, and time.
The transformation laws between model and aircraft are derived, and the test installation is described Finally, a comparison is given between the transient response of a model flying in a wind tunnel and the results of a flight simulation with an analogue computer.
